What does SVUK do?
Social Value UK is the professional body for social value and impact management in the UK. We are a member-led organisation, working with our members standardising practice through the Principles of Social Value, brokering relationships and encouraging cross-sectoral collaboration, encouraging further accountability for impact, building a community of practitioners and encouraging innovation. Social Value UK is a Joint Member Network of Social Value International, the global standard-setting organisation for social value and impact management.
Our Vision: A world where organisations are accountable for their impact on people and where decisions are made to improve wellbeing, equality and the environment for everyone.
Our Mission: To change the way society accounts for value through principles, practice, people and power:
Principles: Our principles will lead to the inclusion of social, environmental and economic value in decision making.
People: We will build and support a network of like-minded individuals who want to work together to put these principles into practice.
Practice: We will develop guidance, tools, and support to help put the principles into practice.
Power: By connecting these individuals and supporting their learning, growth and influence we will build a movement to change the way society accounts for value.
